PROCTER and GAMBLE: “Pettit” Suit Seeks Certification of Class

In the lawsuit styled JAMIE PETTIT, an individual, on behalf of
herself, the general public and those similarly situated, the
Plaintiff, v. THE PROCTER & GAMBLE COMPANY, the Defendant, Case
No. 3:15-cv-02150-RS (N.D. Cal.), the Plaintiff move the Court to
certify a class of:

“all persons who, between April 6, 2011 and the [date of class
certification], purchased in California the Charmin Freshmates
Flushable Wipes (excluding purchases for purpose of resale)”.

The Class will pursue claims under the Unfair Competition Law,
Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code, the California Legal Remedies Act, the
California False Advertising Law, Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code, and for
common law fraud, deceit and/or misrepresentation.

The Plaintiff further asks the Court to appoint her as class
representative on all claims, and Gutride Safier LLP; Tycko &
Zavareei LLP; and Spangenberg Shibley & Liber LLP as class

The Court will convene a hearing on May 18, 2017, at 1:30 p.m., to
consider the Plaintiff’s motion.
